One-Way Slab

1 · Input data

Design check of a one-way slab — one 12 in. design strip of a solid nonprestressed cast-in-place slab — to ACI CODE-318-25 (procedure ENG-2026-10-026, Part A): the thickness against Table 7.3.1.1, cover and effective depth, both critical sections (maximum positive and maximum negative moment), the minimum flexural steel, the spacing and crack-control rules, the shrinkage and temperature reinforcement, one-way shear by row (c) of Table 22.5.5.1, the termination rules, and the deflection requirement. Every parameter below is required. Press Solve the slab check when the card is complete — if anything is missing or malformed the page opens a pop-up naming each parameter and computes nothing; an input that is well-formed but outside the procedure is refused with the clause that refuses it.

2 · Solution

No solution yet — complete every input in the card above and press Solve the slab check. This card stays empty until a solution is computed, and it is emptied again the moment any input changes, so a displayed solution always belongs to the inputs on screen.
